Farewell to Susan Marshall
Blessed good day to all. It is with deep regret and sadness of heart that I write to inform you of the passing of a powerful worship leader, intercessor and prophet, Susan Marshall of our fellowship – Restoration Ministries. She was taken up to be with the Lord on Sunday July 16th. On behalf of my wife Pastor Joy, my family, the Leadership of Restoration Ministries and all the members, I extend condolences and deepest sympathy to her husband Andy, and two children Kenny and Atara.
Susan was an outstandingly loyal and committed member of RMI from the mid 1980’s and was used of God to lay the foundation of a powerful worship and praise team and a strong intercessory prayer group in the ministry. She also flowed very accurately as a prophet in the body of Christ. She was a very faithful leader in the church, a wife, a mother and a friend to many and she will greatly be missed.
She also served as an office assistant very faithfully. The blessed reality is that we as servants of God do not fear death, for the sooner we die the longer shall we be immortal. “Death is swallowed up in victory, O death, where is our sting? O grave where is your victory?” (1 Cor 15:54-55).
As members of the church in sympathy we weep, yet rejoice because we know that in Jesus Christ, Susan is at rest – just fallen asleep. All her pain and suffering is over and a new joy is now her portion forevermore. Susan has joined the great cloud of witnesses, encouraging us to remain steadfast and faithful. She is resting in peace, safe in the arms of Almighty God, whom she served faithfully to the end.
You have fought the good fight Susan and you have finished your course. Farewell.
